A Lead Product Owner leads and delivers the analysis design configuration customization testing deployment and support for applications within a wide range of Treasury business processes which include Cash Management FX & Investment Management banking communication Payments Setup SWIFT integration with market data general ledger accounting controls procedures and Product Management. Performs leading-edge work and develops new approaches / solutions and is viewed as an expert in complex application environments encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Recognized subject matter expert. Delivers functional leadership and may provide work direction / general guidance to other team members.

In this role you will:

• Functional leader of medium to large projects and enhancements within the Treasury process space. Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity.

• Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives or including the opportunity in future demand

• Works directly with Business resources to establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the business process.

• Drives the evaluation of the factors which must be addressed in the change program.

• Maintains in-depth understanding of Treasury business processes and solutions including best practices.

• Integration with other financial processes like Source to Pay (STP) Order to Cash (OTC) and Record to Report (RTR).

• Influences policy formation; contributes to User Groups; significant contribution to strategic direction.

• Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across the organization; maintains full awareness of industry trends

Who you are

• Bachelors degree required. MBA desirable

• Experience: 13-15 years of Professional experience with a minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients

• Experience managing IT Projects and/or Programs

• Experience with deploying and driving execution via performance measurement benchmarking and related visual management

• Held prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing people in offsite and remote locations

• Strong leadership and service delivery skills

• Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations

• Broad range of business and IT experiences; Has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).

• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote) cultures and time zones in a matrix with multiple reporting lines and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers partners and customers.

• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory

• Experienced Treasury applications experience with FIS Quantum preferred.

• Experience in SAP general ledger and financial accounting processes is required

Soft skills:

• Technical Analysis: Experience with various Treasury related applications used in data extraction reporting and analytical processes. Understands impact of changes and checks for compliance to standard prior to initiating change. Absorbs complex business processes and data and communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences. Gains agreement from subject matter experts to models produced. Reviews resulting models with stakeholders and gains resolution to resultant issues.

Plans schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures. Rapidly absorbs new technical information and applies it effectively. Takes initiative to keep skills up to date. Maintains an awareness of developments in the industry. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
