This is a hyrbid position reporting to our Herndon VA office a few days per week.

About the Mission:

You will be a founding member of the AI & Enterprise Data Observability (AIDO) unit at SAP NS2. Our mission is to pioneer Secure Independent AI adoption. We are building the Central Nervous System that allows us to securely orchestrate fine-tune and enhance existing state-of-the-art models using proprietary NS2 data. Our goal is to create Force Multipliers for our workforcetransforming our cloud ecosystem into a smarter self-healing and predictive environment while strictly adhering to data security and independence.

Role Summary

You are the Player/Coach for the AIDO team. You will lead the technical development of AI agents while also serving as the Scrum Mastermanaging the backlog facilitating sprints and ensuring the team hits the 2026 Roadmap.

Key Responsibilities (Technical)

  • Agent Development: Lead the build of GenAI agents using LangChain/LlamaIndex for Root Cause Analysis and SOP Generation.
  • Model Fine-Tuning: Operationalize the fine-tuning of RAG models using the datasets curated by the Data Engineer.
  • Technical Mentorship: Guide the developers on code quality architecture and MLOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities (Agile Leadership)

  • Servant Leadership: Coach the team in self-organization and remove blockers that hinder progress.
  • Event Facilitation: Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Retrospectives).
  • Velocity Tracking: Manage the burn-down charts and ensure resource mapping aligns with the delivery roadmap.

Required Skills

  • Agile Mastery: Deep knowledge of Scrum framework (PSM certification preferred) and Servant Leadership.
  • AI Frameworks: Proficiency in PyTorch TensorFlow Keras and scikit-learn.
  • NLP Expertise: Strong grasp of NLP techniques (NLTK spaCy Transformers) for processing unstructured text.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Advanced Agile Certifications: Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or CSP-SM.
  • GenAI Orchestration: Deep experience with LangGraph or similar agentic workflows.
  • SAP Ecosystem: Understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 176300 - 374200(USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
