We are inviting applications from highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Plastic Surgical Nursing to join our dedicated perioperative team
As a Clinical Nurse within our Plastic Theatre you will bring exceptional communication organisational and leadership skills to this fast-paced and demanding environment. You will serve as a positive role model to your team fostering a culture of collaboration and promoting the ongoing development of staff while ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care are consistently delivered during surgical procedures.
About the role:
Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team
Educating junior staff in specialty
Managing and organising Plastic Surgery needs for the department Including:
Equipment
Instruments
Loan sets and implants
Deliver evidenced based and quality clinical nursing care
Liaising with management key stakeholders and all staff
Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively
Work effectively in a team environment while managing own time effectively in a fast-paced setting

About you:
Currently Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA
Minimum 5 years recent theatre nursing experience
Previous experience working within peri-operative environment and/or surgical nursing
Demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation
Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards
Strategic minded thinker
Ability to engage with all members of staff
Excellent communication style written and verbal
Ability to meet deadlines
Work collaboratively with the management team
Proficient in electronic databases and ability to adapt to changing platforms
Knowledge of labour management / KPIs

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (Agreement or Enterprise Agreement) (salaries range between $53.24 -$58.04 per hour).
