Job Summary
The Role
Were on the lookout for a Senior Associate to join our rapidly growing national Finance practice to support Zina Edwards (Head of Finance) and Monty Loughlin (Partner Finance).
Our Finance practice has a strong focus on Australias fast-growing alternative lending this role youll have the opportunity to lead and advise on complex high-value transactions for both financiers and borrowers including onshore and offshore credit funds asset managers bank and non-bank lenders strategic investors creditors and insolvency practitioners. Matters will span structured and asset-backed transactions venture and growth finance secondary trades financial turnarounds and corporate restructurings.
Youll play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers helping shape the strategic direction of the practice and contributing to client relationship management and business development initiatives.
Were looking for someone who is:
- Currently practising as a Senior Associate (or ready to step into that role) in a Banking & Finance practice
- Genuinely passionate about complex problem-solving and thinking commercially and creatively
- Eager to play a visible role in the firms growth and business development
