Job Summary

Job Title: Azure SME Architect

Location: Bangalore India (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME) Architect to design implement and govern enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership define cloud architecture standards and guide teams in building secure scalable and highly available Azure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect end-to-end Azure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
Act as Azure SME providing guidance on best practices architecture patterns and governance
Lead Azure migration modernization and cloud-native initiatives
Define and implement Azure Landing Zones networking security and identity architecture
Ensure high availability disaster recovery scalability and performance of Azure workloads
Collaborate with application DevOps security and infrastructure teams
Review architecture designs and provide technical recommendations
Support cost optimization monitoring and performance tuning
Mentor engineers and conduct technical workshops as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

10 years of IT experience with 5 years in Azure architecture
Strong expertise in Azure services:
- Azure Compute Storage Networking
- Azure AD RBAC Security Center Key Vault
- Azure App Services AKS Functions
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Bicep Terraform)
Strong knowledge of Azure networking (VNET VPN ExpressRoute Load Balancers)
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with cloud security governance and compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (AZ-305 AZ-104 AZ-400 preferred)
Experience in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
