Network Architect / Solution Architect role
Proven experience leading enterprise scale SD WAN design and transformation initiatives
Strong stakeholder management documentation and presentation skills
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the end to end architecture for the Cisco SD WAN solution across the enterprise
Design scalable resilient and secure SD WAN architectures covering underlay and overlay networks (MPLS Internet LTE/5G)
Develop and maintain High Level and Low Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for WAN LAN data center and cloud connectivity
Define SD WAN design standards architectural principles and governance models
Design segmentation strategies using VPNs VRFs and centralized policies to meet business and security requirements
Define application aware routing QoS traffic engineering and high availability models
Lead SD WAN migration strategy from legacy WAN to software defined WAN
Act as the technical authority for all SD WAN related decisions and escalations
Lead technical workshops architecture reviews and design walkthroughs with stakeholders
Collaborate with vendors system integrators and internal teams to validate solution designs
Provide architectural oversight during implementation testing and rollout phases
Review configurations and deployments to ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
Required Technical Skills
Cisco SD WAN (Viptela): Expert level understanding of architecture and design including vManage vSmart vBond and cEdge/vEdge platforms
Routing & WAN Technologies: Strong knowledge of BGP OSPF EIGRP VRF QoS NAT MPLS Internet and LTE/5G connectivity
Network Security: Experience designing firewall architecture VPNs (IPSec / SSL) network segmentation IDS/IPS and secure edge solutions
Cloud Networking: Understanding of hybrid connectivity and cloud networking architectures including AWS VPC and Azure Virtual Network.
Mandatory Skills : Network Architect SDWAN.
