Job Summary

Job Title: AWS Platform Engineering Architect

Experience: 15-20 Years ( 8 Years in AWS & Devops)

Location: Hyderabad

Mode of work: Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineering Architect to design build and scale secure reliable and high-performance cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will drive cloud architecture strategy enable engineering teams through platform capabilities and ensure best practices across infrastructure automation and DevOps.

Design and implement scalable resilient and secure cloud architectures on AWS

Define and evolve the organizations cloud platform strategy and standards

Build and maintain reusable platform services (CI/CD pipelines infrastructure templates observability etc.)

Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Establish best practices for cloud governance security and cost optimization

Collaborate with development DevOps and security teams to enable self-service platforms

Architect multi-account multi-region AWS environments

Drive automation across provisioning deployment and operations

Ensure high availability disaster recovery and performance optimization

Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.

Requirements

8 years of experience in cloud engineering DevOps or platform engineering

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM EKS etc.)

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation) Account Factory Terraform

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)

Expertise in Control Tower Landing zone Multi Account AWS Governance & Platform Support.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc.)

Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python Bash or similar)

Deep understanding of networking security and cloud architecture principles

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana)

Familiarity with cost optimization and FinOps practices
