Part-Time Hybrid Video Editor

Tekberry is seeking a talented Video Editor to support our client within the Stanford School of Medicine. This role focuses on creating engaging high-quality video content and animations that support storytelling events and communications initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical editing skills creative vision and the ability to manage projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Edit raw footage into polished professional video content aligned with project goals.

• Create motion graphics and animations to enhance video storytelling.

• Collaborate with creative and project teams to understand objectives vision and timelines.

• Manage and organize media assets and project files to ensure efficient workflows.

• Maintain consistent quality style and brand alignment across all video deliverables.

• Meet deadlines while maintaining high production standards.

• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and professionally.

• Bachelors degree in Media Production Film Communications or a related field.

• 4 5 years of hands-on experience in video editing and animation.

• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (required).

• Strong understanding of video editing principles pacing and visual storytelling.

• Experience creating animations and motion graphics.

• Excellent attention to detail including color correction and audio synchronization.

• Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.

• Experience with After Effects or other animation software.

• Knowledge of sound design and advanced audio editing.

• Portfolio demonstrating a range of video styles and formats (highly preferred).
