Job Summary

Job Title: Maintenance Associate

Location: Amelia LA 70380

Pay: $28 $30XX

Shift: First shift approx. 6:30 AM 4:30 PM 5 days/week (weekends possible during high workload)

Overview:
You will support preventative maintenance and perform welding cutting and fitting tasks in a mining/industrial setting. This role requires hands-on work coordination with supervisors and other teams and maintaining safe organized work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding cutting fitting and general maintenance tasks.
Operate forklifts cranes and hand tools.
Maintain tools clean work areas and ensure safety compliance.
Lift carry and use heavy tools and equipment.
Work outdoors in all weather and in restrictive spaces when needed.
Follow all safety and regulatory procedures; report hazards injuries or near-misses.
Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

Welding cutting fitting and preventative maintenance skills.
Ability to work in extreme weather at heights and in tight spaces.
No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be local (within 30 40 miles of Amelia LA).
Steel-toe boots long sleeves and pants required on day one.

Training: Extensive on-the-job training provided.
