Job Summary

Position Summary
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Participant Coordinator within the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator is responsible for research participant management and data collection for a variety of complex clinical research protocols including leading efforts in gathering compiling and reporting data. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator facilitates the integration of research activities into the clinical care environment conveying information to a variety of individuals and groups. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator will work closely with the PI/Co-PI an interdisciplinary team of health care practitioners/clinicians/translational researchers multi-sectoral partners and key state and national stakeholders to support the needs of youth/young adults (14-26) with epilepsy and co-occurring conditions and their families/caregivers receiving care across the UNC system. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator will share responsibilities for major aspects of implementation of grant goals and activities as detailed in a 5-Year Workplan. Types of responsibilities include: Assisting with in-person and remote meeting organization Coordinating effort across project members and key stakeholders including managing communication with the Advisory Council and the AMCHP National Coordinating Center on Transition Setting metrics for the achievement of short-and-long-term outcomes of transition goals Maintaining documents and records required for conducting ongoing reporting to funding agency Organizing communication with WBHP Workstreams project directors and key personnel to ensure needed supports are in place and foster completion of grant goals Helping develop/administer an environmental scan and multisectoral transition systems analysis to identify new partnerships determine leverage points for policy/system change initiatives (e.g. in clinical home and community-based services) Working to develop and maintain a robust statewide resource and referral database for key areas of transition for our targeted population in relationship to state and national partner organizations Supporting the WBHP Evaluation Team with data collection for quality improvement annual performance reporting and in modifying the budget/workplan to increase attainment of key deliverables This position will work a hybrid schedule of 30 hours/week with flexibility to seek complementary funding support.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday 8am 2pm; other times as needed
