Job Purpose and Impact

The Collection Specialist with French job assists with processing accounts receivable transactions and collecting on cash due to the organization supporting the timely and accurate collection of funds while maintaining positive customer relationships. Under close supervision this job optimizes cash flow and reduces delinquencies by working with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and collect outstanding payments.

Key Accountabilities

  • ACCOUNT COLLECTIONS: Supports the collections process including monitoring and following up on overdue accounts contacting customers for payment and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • CUSTOMER ANALYSIS: Assists with the analysis of customer accounts to identify delinquencies payment trends and potential credit risks.
  • DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Investigates and resolves routine disputes by analyzing relevant account data and collaborating with internal teams.
  • REPORTING: Drafts timely and accurate reports on collections accounts receivable and dispute resolution activities to distribute to cross functional teams.
  • RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Maintains positive working relationships with customers and cross functional teams to enable efficient collaboration.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Partners to find opportunities for process improvements and contributes to the development of innovative solutions to improve collections and dispute resolution efficiency.
  • INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Stays updated on industry trends regulations and best in class industry standards related to collections and dispute resolution ensuring compliance and driving innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with email spreadsheet and word processing applications
  • Fluent French language skills verbal and written
  • Very good English language skills verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

  • Collections accounts receivable and general accounting knowledge
