As a Locum NP/PA you will play a crucial role in managing patient assessments treatments and follow-up care in the field of cardiology. Your expertise will help us ensure that our patients receive the best possible care while supporting the overall goals of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Monitor and manage patient progress and response to treatments
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with cardiology best practices and advancements
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Experience in cardiology or related medical field preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record management
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts 7 days per week
Duties: Rounding consults procedures etc.
Required Procedures: Arterial line placement central line placement cardioversion
Support Staff:Hospitalists and cardiologists; pulmonary critical care and CV surgery support as needed
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
