Location: Bogotá Colombia
Work Model: Hybrid On-site 3x per week
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect materials and services including MRO IT facilities and professional services.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to payment ensuring compliance with company policies internal controls and ethical standards.
- Conduct market research to identify evaluate and onboard qualified suppliers assessing cost quality reliability and risk.
- Lead commercial negotiations to achieve optimal pricing contractual terms and service-level agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Monitor supplier performance proactively address issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support budget and productivity targets.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on spend analysis market trends sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely efficient and high-quality delivery of indirect materials and services that support business operations.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer with a strong focus on indirect materials and services procurement.
- Solid negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices sourcing methodologies and supply chain management principles.
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience managing regional or LATAM supplier portfolios.
- Advanced data analysis skills (e.g. spend analytics dashboards or reporting tools).
- Bilingual proficiency in English intermediate Portuguese.
- Experience driving cost optimization productivity initiatives or process improvements in procurement.
