Responsibilities:
Lead Global Transportation Strategy Execution:Direct the team in implementing global international transportation strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
Freight Forwarder & supplier Collaboration: Oversee collaboration with global contracted freight forwarders including obtaining quotes negotiating rates comparing international freight costs selecting optimal routes and planning shipment schedules.
Guide the team in working closely with local vendors to confirm delivery requirements and schedules prior to cargo loading ensuring smooth operations.
Monitor Transportation Performance:Monitor the preparation and submission of accurate commercial documents to China import & export and global customs authorities within specified timeframes to ensure seamless cargo clearance. Lead the team on vessel booking manage on-site cargo loading and oversee transportation processes to ensure timely departures and proper handling of shipments.
Standardized Shipping Process Implementation:Develop and implement standardized processes for tracking shipments documenting shipping activities (e.g. global market documentation loading photos) and ensuring all global shipments are traceable through a unified system.
Team Leadership and Alignment:Collaboratewith the direct report to align team responsibilities provide motivation and ensure goals are achieved accurately and efficiently.
Requirement:
10years working experience in international trade transportation customs declaration.
Relevant working experience and familiar with document review booking of shipping space commodity inspection customs declaration and contact with freight forwarding customs brokerage freight forwarding warehouse and other links.
Computer skills serious and responsible work high initiative strong learning ability good at communication thinking and solving problems;
Good at time management able to work under pressure hard-working.
