INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR AND BROKER IN TRAINING (Home and Auto) - No previous experience required

  • Im big on serving up superior customer service - in person over the phone or digitally - and believe in treating people the way I would want to be treated.
  • This said I can shake off the occasional tough call and not let it ruin day.
  • I play REALLY well with my collegues in an office environment. No drama here!

  • Continuous learning does not scare me
  • Im dependable and always pull my own weight. At the same time I dont hesitate to take on a little more when required to help out a colleague in need.
  • Im not one to brag but I have legit references who will back up how good I am!

So what would you be doing on a daily basis

  • Working in a dynamic office environment where everyone doing their part is crucial to success
  • Early on you would be providing administrative support. This will include receptionnist duties and data entry and data verification.
  • Broker Training follows and includes:
    • Helping our/your clients Identify their individuals insurance needs and making recommendations
    • Taking calls/e-mails/DMs (90%) or in-office visits (10%) from clients and prospective clients
    • Building and maintaining relationships with old and new clients alike (ie. building your portfolio of clients)
    • Keeping on top of insurance product developments
    • Working on special projects as required
    • Guiding clients through the insurance claims process

Other requirements:

  • A high-school (good) or post-secondary (better) education
  • A willingness to undertake - and ability to pass - insurance licensing courses (note: we cover the cost and provide support)
  • A clean criminal record (to qualify to become licensed)
  • Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken)
  • You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our office you are applying to.

Previous experience in insurance not required just a willingness to learn and a desire to help people.
