We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to manage a team of Workplace Financial Consultants who will engage and educate retirement plan participants. This role is responsible for driving sales performance deepening client relationships and increasing product adoption across both Workplace Solutions and Personal Investor. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in retirement plans financial services people leadership and client engagement strategy particularly with a focus on book of business management with a passion for developing talent and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing teamof Financial Consultants who manage books of business consisting of Workplace Solutions participants.
Drive strategic outreach initiativesto increase product adoption and wallet share particularly among participants contributing to and transitioning from employer-sponsored plans.
Coach and mentor team memberson advanced sales techniques client segmentation and consultative engagement strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionallywith internal partners in Personal Investor Workplace Solutions Advice and Marketing to align on messaging campaigns and client experience enhancements.
Monitor and analyze team performance metrics ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Implement scalable processesfor book management pipeline development and client tiering to optimize team efficiency and impact.
Champion a culture of continuous learning experimentation and innovation through regular coaching skill-building sessions and peer collaboration.
Ensure compliancewith FINRA and internal policies supporting licensing and training requirements for all team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services with at least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
Minimum of one year of Defined Contribution plan knowledge.
Proven track record in sales management client relationship development and team coaching.
Deep understanding of investment products retirement planning and the needs of Workplace Solutions clients.
FINRA Series 7 66 and 24 (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
Experience with CRM systems sales analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency preferred).
