Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defenceand National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for aBusiness Transformation Leadin Canberra to support critical ICT Defence transformation initiatives with a strong focus on organisational change stakeholder engagement and capability uplift across the IADB project portfolio with Defence Digital Group.
This role will provide expert advice on business and organisational transformation ensuring projects align with Defence strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key role responsibilities including:
Lead business transformation across IADB projects by providing expert advice on organisational design systems processes and stakeholder engagement.
Engage internal and external stakeholders to identify resistance to change misinformation capability gaps and learning needs.
Review analyse and assure business and systems processes providing recommendations and updating documentation to support project delivery.
Develop review and support IADB Transformation Plans aligned to Defence strategy including roadmaps risk and issue management and delivery of key project milestones (Capability One Material Releases IOC and FOC).
Design assure and evaluate training and learning strategies to build capability drive behavioural change and ensure transformation outcomes are achieved.
What Youll Bring
Strong experience as a Business Analyst delivering outcomes in Defence environments including ICT integration projects.
Proven ability to lead engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders building trust and alignment across technical and business teams.
Ownership of business requirements definition and documentation using use case methodologies and adapting analysis tools and techniques as required.
Capability to apply fit for purpose business analysis approaches to support complex fastmoving project environments.
A proactive approach to accelerated enduser engagement ensuring requirements are clearly understood validated and adopted.
Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimumNegative Vetting 1or higher Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
