A Day in the Life

Our Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) people are supporting our customers beyond products and devices to create more value for patients. Integrated Health Solutions builds on Medtronics combination on process optimization expertise therapy knowledge and capital resources. The team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain. IHS currently partners with hospitals and clinics offering solutions that help care providers optimize costs and outcomes while driving higher value and patient satisfaction.

As a Senior Consultant Integrated Health Solutions you will connect with client hospitals understand and analyze their most pressing business challenges and deliver high value services which improve their quality productivity and patient- and staff experience. This is a role focused on working in Benelux (across various hospital clients) with a willingness to travel within Benelux and occasionally within EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa). It is possible to work alternately on-site and remotely depending on the consulting assignments. This role is offered as an initial 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. As is common within our organisation positions may begin as fixed-term and are often extended or converted into permanent roles subject to business needs team growth and individual performance.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Work with your team on projects across our partnerships to deliver quality and improve healthcare

• Drive complex transformational change design and implement growth strategies

• Help hospitals innovate and optimise e.g. same-day discharge remote care regional collaboration new care concepts growth programmes

• Help physicians and hospital management improve outcomes

• Develop actionable plans for immediate improvement and drive implementation

• Capture learning and best practice to continuously support its international network of clients

• Share and communicate identified best practice with clients and the team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Relevant Masters degree (preferred) with excellent academic and extracurricular achievements

• Several years of relevant consulting experience (preferred) healthcare consulting or extensive years of industry experience

• Healthcare industry knowledge or experience

• Proven track record in driving end-to-end transformations: from analysis to implementation

• Project management: planning & coordinating communicating & influencing building relationships achieving milestones resolving issues and managing risks

• Fluency in Dutch and English required; French proficiency is highly valued and will be considered a strong advantage

• Problem solving core consulting skills good data analysis presentation and communication skills
