The Role:
Identity is having a moment. Every company is deploying agents spinning up service accounts and realizing their IAM stack cant keep up. Were building AI-native security that scales with this chaos and companies like Databricks Cloudflare and Figma are betting on us to get it right.
You will own Opals product direction and execution as our sole product manager. Youll work directly with security and engineering teams at Fortune 500s and startups alike understand their messy reality and determine our position as a leader in IAM. Youll report directly into our CTO and work hand in hand with our engineering team.

Your Responsibilities:
Own product strategy from insight to execution. Own what we build and where we expand work directly with customers to validate direction partner with engineering on technical strategy and ensure our roadmap positions us to win in IAM.
Architect our platform to unify human and non-human identity governance across hybrid environments by making sense of on-prem AD cloud IAM SaaS apps and AI agents.
Lead our evolution from fast and flexible to enterprise-grade at scale without losing what developers love about us.
Drive category creation and position Opal as the authorization intelligence layer not just another point solution in a crowded IAM landscape.

Work across the stack: youre comfortable talking technical architecture with engineers doing the boring admin work and owning business outcomes with customers.

What You Bring:
6 years in product management owning a highly technical product or solution in the security space
Track record building 1-to-n products and scaling them
Ability to drive high performant engineering output
Either a degree in computer science or you categorize yourself as a pseudo/honorary engineer
