Sr. Construction Manager V
Overview of Responsibilities
The Sr. Construction Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities of the Design/Builder. The T5 Building Construction Manager acts as the liaison for pre-construction and construction activities including leading the safety security and quality for the Program. The Renovation and Reconstruction Project covers the full demolition and rebuild of the headhouse and concourse as well as various enabling scopes to vacate the existing building.
The Sr. Construction Manager is responsible for managing the scope cost schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the program. The Sr. Construction Manager will be focused on schedule certainty budget delivery and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health safety and environmental culture on the project. The Sr. Construction Manager will support the development and implementation of design construction testing commissioning turnover plans impacts to the operations ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized working and coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring clients standards are adhered to. Sr. Construction Manager will additionally report to the Interface Manager to ensure that all project elements-including the concourse headhouse and site/civil work-are aligned communicated and executed e ciently. This role includes coordinating managing and resolving all interfaces among multiple contractors design teams stakeholders utilities and project management groups across the Program to ensure that technical operational schedule and logistical requirements are fully met.

Essential Job Duties
- Monitor all on-site eld construction activities associated with the completion of the project.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation.
- Ensure construction operations follow approved work plans and Area Shutdown Requests (ASRs) and all proper noti cations are made
- Become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities to be erected
- Ensure all work is being performed with and inspected to the latest versions of plans and speci cations including approved changes submittals and RFIs
- Work with Design/Builder and stakeholders to develop the overall planning of construction activities and identify critical milestones and priorities
- Monitor budget estimates and sta ng requirements for the de ned scope and schedule
- Monitor the assignment of manpower materials and equipment to maximize e ciency maintain schedules and to meet budget goals
- Keep alert to possible problem areas and take preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project
- Ensure the use of sound and safe construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum e ciency and minimum cost
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients
- Ensure e ective implementation of all policies and procedures including project labor agreement policies
- Contribute to the advancement of clients goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
- Participate in all necessary coordination meetings with the Design/Builder trade partners stakeholders clients Operations etc.
- Review Contractor Potential Change Order Claims for Merit and negotiate to nal resolution
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
- Masters degree preferred
Professional Licenses & Certifications:
- Optional Certifications may include AAAE LEED PMP PE and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification.
Minimum Years and Experience:
- 20 years or more Construction Management experience preferably on airport projects and large complex multi year projects.
- Manage a team of construction managers.
Professional Experience Level/Other Quali cations
- Experience with projects more than $100 million in value.
- Experience with various delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build DesignCMAR and Design/Build
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Experience with airport concourse scope airport headhouse scope or site/civil scope.
Hardware/Software Knowledge
- Pro cient in Microsoft O ce Suite and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PM Web)
Compensation
This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $225000.00 - $240000.00 and commensurate with
skill education experience and work location.
This role is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.
