OVERVIEW: Senior Accountant - Waltham MA
80 to 90K per/year

Our finance department is rapidly growing and we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the financial reporting team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance the role will work closely with operations centralized Accounts Receivable (AR) and other finance functions
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accruals and adjustments.
- Assist with monthly quarterly and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge:
- 35 years of experience in accounting preferably in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
- Analytical mindset attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Education/Certification:
- CPA designation (or in progress) strongly preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Pay range: $80000 to $90000 based on experience
