Job Summary

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end crewing operations for assigned vessels ensuring safe manning and compliance at all times.
Plan coordinate and execute crew change schedules in line with vessel operations budgets and voyage plans.
Ensure full compliance with MLC 2006 STCW flag state and company policies.
Oversee recruitment selection and deployment of seafarers including interviews assessments and approvals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew records certifications medicals and contract documentation.
Manage crew performance welfare discipline and grievance matters in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate training competency development and career progression plans for officers and ratings.
Control crewing budgets manning costs and agency fees; monitor cost efficiency and reporting.
Liaise closely with ship managers technical teams manning agents flag states and maritime authorities.
Support audits inspections and incident investigations related to crewing and manpower matters.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies Nautical Science Marine Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in ship crewing or fleet personnel management.
Strong working knowledge of MLC 2006 STCW flag state and port state requirements.
Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented well-organised and able to manage multiple vessels and priorities under pressure.
