Job Description:
The opportunity:
The Production Planner is responsible for planning scheduling and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources inventory and capacity. The role involves close coordination with manufacturing procurement quality and logistics teams to meet customer demand and business objectives.
How youll make an impact :
Develop and maintain daily weekly and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts and customer orders
Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to address capacity constraints material availability or operational issues.
Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
Track and analyze production performance identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain inventory levels (RM WIP FG) in line with business targets.
Collaborate with manufacturing quality and engineering teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
Prepare and update production reports KPIs and dashboards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy lead time reduction and productivity.
Ensure adherence to safety quality and compliance standards
Participate in S&OP / MPS / MRP meetings and activities
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
Strong understanding of production planning and control (PPC) principles
Bachelors or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with relevant experience.
5 years of relevant experience in production planning or manufacturing operations
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Excel (planning sheets pivot tables data analysis)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication and coordination skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement is an advantage
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
