The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time BI Report Developer 1to work in a hybrid capacity based in Miami Florida.
TheBI Report Developer 1is responsible fordesigning and developing dashboards discovery boards and reports from various areas in Workday ranging from HCM to Finance to Supply Chain. They will collaborate with business stakeholders leaders and subject matter experts to design develop and support business intelligence information for the University of Miami.
Core Responsibilities:
Designs develops andmaintainsbusiness intelligence reports and dashboards.
Creates and configures metadata objects.
Develops a strong understanding of user reporting needs and makes recommendations on how reports can be developed using BI tools.
Works with ETL developers todeterminereport design strategies.
Works with application analysts toidentifyand understand source data systems.
Analyzespossible reportingalternatives in relationship to business needs costs effectiveness and information availability requirements.
Works on security setup and maintenance tool administration and data modeling.
Develops orassistsin the creation of project time estimates.
Provides post-implementation supportofuser questions and fine-tuning ofprocesses.
Maintains communication with management and users during the developmentandmaintenance cycle.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of Reporting Tools
Exceptional presentation and analytical skills
Highly self-motivated
Works effectively as part of a team or independently
Any appropriate combination of relevant education experience and/or certifications may be considered.
