IB Network Design PM, Supply Chain

Join our Transportation Capacity Planning team to drive a new program called PCP where youll lead network design and implementation of processing flows with autonomy and this role youll develop business plans focused on execution and quality metric improvements while analyzing data across the fulfillment network to identify optimization opportunities. Youll work cross-functionally with finance forecasters business operations and recruiting teams to implement solutions that enhance our transportation capacity capabilities. Key job responsibilities

Manage and prioritize program life-cycles working cross-functionally to deliver projects that optimize transportation capacity planning across the network.
Define network design requirements and implement processing flows analyzing data to drive improvements quantified by key performance metrics.
Collaborate with finance forecasters business operations and recruiting teams to create efficient capacity plans based on short-term and long-term volume forecasts.
Monitor and analyze fulfillment network data to identify optimization opportunities develop action plans and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Communicate program status to all stakeholders through regular business reviews proactively identify risks and provide mitigation plans to optimize network operations.
Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance system quality and operational excellence across the fulfillment network.
Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel Access and other data management systems.
Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
Participating in multiple projects and/or programs that have influence on carrier configurations and development of carrier performance metrics.

A day in the life
Your typical day involves developing multiple business plans focused on execution and quality metric improvements while tracking month-over-month performance. Youll analyze data from across the fulfillment network identify opportunities for optimization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. Youll participate in regular business reviews to share insights and progress updates while also managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment on key initiatives designed to enhance our fulfillment capabilities.

About the team
We are the Transportation Capacity Planning team! We create efficient plans based on short-term and long-term volume forecasts working closely with finance forecasters business operations and recruiting teams. Our team supplies required capacity considering volume forecasts and production efficiency manages OpEx goals coordinates ramp up processes and proactively identifies risks while providing mitigation plans to optimize network operations. Were committed to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of Amazons transportation network through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration.

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Speak write and read fluently in English

- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
