Job Title: IT Supervisor
Location: Omaha
Reporting to: Plant Engineer
Essential Job Functions:
- Vendor Access Requests
- All computer/network components including servers network equipment wireless access points cabling printers and work stations
- Security camera systems
- Door readers and controller systems
- Phone systems
- All Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems.
- Work with end users proposing new hardware and software solutions
- Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production
- Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network hardware and software issues
- Seek out opportunities to automate plant processes
- Implement automated solutions plant-wide
- Communicate Plant Systems Outages and Notices
- Analyze software issues installation and testing of application software/patches
- Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- 3 years of related experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in reading and writing ladder logic plc program
- Proficient in graphics packages / HMI interface
- Fundamental understanding of VLANS
- Fundamental understanding of Citrix desktop
- Server Windows 10 Office 2016
- Cisco Network Switch cabling connectivity configurations and troubleshooting
- Phone systems experience preferred but not required
- MCSE Certification is preferred but not required
- A Certification preferred but not required
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have strong customer support abilities
- Must be willing to work in a plant / industrial environment
