Networking and IT Intern

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated individual interested in networking and IT infrastructure to join our team as a Network Engineer (Temp to Hire). This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world networking environments and managed services deployments. The position will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians to support the configuration deployment and troubleshooting of enterprise networking equipment for business customers.

This role is ideal for candidates pursuing or beginning a career in Information Technology Network Engineering Cybersecurity or related fields who are looking to gain practical experience while developing foundational skills in networking and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the remote installation and configuration of network devices including firewalls switches wireless access points and IP cameras.

Collaborate with field technicians and customers to support the deployment of new network services.

Help design and pre-provision managed network services for new customer environments prior to installation.

Support the testing and validation of networking equipment before deployment.

Develop practical knowledge of network infrastructure managed devices and troubleshooting processes.

Gain hands-on experience working with enterprise networking technologies and remote management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education or training related to Information Technology Networking Cybersecurity or Computer Science.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing switching routing or wireless networking).

Interest in enterprise networking equipment and managed services environments.

Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment.
