You are an aspiring Assistant Project Manager with over 4 years of experience working in multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects. As an integral part of the project team you will be responsible for planning organizing and executing project strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager. You will support the operations team in maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Leads and promotes Ledcor safety culture on site ensuring site safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded and participates in PSSP development. Participates in the incident investigation process as required
- Leads multi-discipline estimates including the development of execution plan and estimate schedule. Participates in the risk management process identifying and managing opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets
- Develops and leads engineering deliverables by working with designers on design-build jobs and delegates project control processes. Ensures construction documents are complete and meet project requirements. Sets standards for budget control methodology reviews cost reports and manages construction costs and budgets
- Participates in the creation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) ensuring that the quality of materials and workmanship meet or exceed standards identified in approval documents. Oversees nonconformance report (NCR) investigation and implements corrective actions as required
- Leads subcontractor bid solicitation and oversees the RFI process. Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection procurement and negotiations
- Participates and assists in contract and change order negotiation and management
- Leads set up of project systems and procedures including chart of accounts cost accounting system and project directory. Tracks maintains and reports on financial aspects of project including billings and projections
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of related experience as project coordinator or project manager or combination of relevant education and experience
- Knowledge of construction documents drawings specifications current construction practices and methodology; understanding of construction costs and budgets
- Familiarity with and understanding of all components of contract documents
- Ability to motivate coach and guide other team members clearly and persuasively
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders exchanging information and responding to routine stakeholder requests
- Ability to identify constructability issues in typical situations and develop straightforward solutions in the construction plan and schedule
- LEED-accredited professionals are preferred but we welcome candidates who are willing to pursue LEED accreditation

Compensation
$78800.00 - $108350.00
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
