Our client is a privately owned Queensland-based company that has been setting the standard in steel fabrication since 1972. Known as one of Brisbanes most highly-regarded suppliers they offer long-term career opportunities in a modern well-equipped workshop designed for safety efficiency and high-quality craftsmanship.

We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner for their manufacturing facility in Archerfield with immediate start available!

The role would be causal to startbut consistent 25-30 hours per week with view to permanent transition in future.

Working day shift between 7am to 3.30pm with erly finish at 1pm on Fridays - FLEXIBLE hours!

The person will be responsible for the cleanliness of the factory are including:

• Emptying all bins on site
• Sweeping in and around worker bays
• Operating the electric sweeper for large factory areas and car park
• Replenishing tea coffee milk paper towels toilet paper in lunchrooms & bathrooms
• Wiping down machinery
• General tidiness throughout the factory (picking up rubbish and cardboard etc)
• Any additional labouring work packing parts linishing &deliveries (using company ute- drivers licence required)
• Gardeningwhen required

Need to be able to manage your time as you will be given a list of tasks to complete and then its up to you to ensure they get done within the timeframe given.

They currently have a full time cleaner but areutilising him for other areas in the factory so this role would be a support person to assist him not solely responsible for the cleaning.

Fairly flexible with days and times worked but once they have been determined (according to the persons requirements) would want them to be set so each week remains the same.

• Physically fit and able to pass regular drug testing
• Reliable and committed to getting the job done
• Good communication skills and team player
• Strong safety focus and organisation skills
