Job Summary

Description

As the IT Support Technician youll provide firstline technical support to internal and external users across multiple business lines and office locations. Youll troubleshoot hardware software and networking issues deliver dependable customer service and maintain clear documentation within our support systems. This is a handson role within a small team and begins as a parttime position with potential to transition to fulltime. Occasional travel (approximately 10%) is required.

What Youll Do

  • Respond promptly to help desk tickets phone calls and emails.
  • Troubleshoot common IT issues including:
  • Password resets and account access
  • Printer setup and connectivity
  • Application errors and software usage
  • Perform basic hardware diagnostics and repairs (desktops laptops peripherals).
  • Assist with basic networking tasks such as connectivity checks and cable management.
  • Document all support activities within the ticketing system.
  • Provide onsite support at external locations when required.
  • Apply and uphold information security best practices.
  • Work a parttime schedule of 3 days per week 8:30 AM5:00 PM with the potential to transition to fulltime based on business needs.

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT fundamentals and troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with desktop support in a Windows environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing WiFi troubleshooting).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
