Job Summary
Hiring for an Experienced COMMERCIAL HVAC Service Technician
Employment type: Full Time Chesapeake VA
Russells Heating Cooling Plumbing And Electrics commercial department is growing again!We are looking for the next Commercial HVAC/R service tech to join our ranks. Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work individually while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Efficient trouble-shooting and problem-solving of all common mechanical systems up to 50 tons
- Able to follow all Russells safety guidelines and customer requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
- Perform related work as assigned
- Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
- Maintain understanding of company repair policies and pricing
- Ability to discuss repair options with clients and present estimates
- Ability to learn and utilize all company software applications
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience
- Valid Drivers License and clean DMV record
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Friendly personable and responsible team player
- Possess own tools
- Knowledge of the theory methods practices tools and equipment of the trade.
- Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems
- Ability to apply the theory technique principles and processes of the HVAC mechanics trade
- Ability to read understand and work from schematics
- Universal EPA certified
- OSHA Certification (preferred)
- Be able to bend stoop reach stand lift and move 50lbs regularly throughout the day
