Job Summary

The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in supporting plant operations troubleshooting IT systems and contributing to next-generation manufacturing initiatives as part of a global team.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide IT operations and technical support for plant floor applications and infrastructure

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues in a manufacturing environment

Support manufacturing execution systems and plant applications to ensure uptime and performance
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including assembly quality industrial controls and finance
-
Assist in data analysis and problem resolution to support production goals

Contribute to process improvement initiatives supporting lean and flexible manufacturing

Support emerging technologies such as:

Industrial IoT (IIoT)

Software-defined networks (SDN)
-
Digital systems and mobility solutions
-

Maintain and support IT infrastructure including servers networks and end-user devices

Participate in global IT initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational standards

Strong customer support and communication skills

Experience or willingness to learn:

Windows Server (2016) and/or Linux administration

Active Directory / ADFS

VMware (vSphere)

Cisco networking (routers switches basic troubleshooting)

Office 365 and SharePoint

PCs printers and office automation tools
-
Mobile device support (iOS Android)

Handheld scanners and imaging devices

Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell) is a plus

Exposure to plant floor or manufacturing environments

Knowledge of industrial automation (PLCs control systems)

Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDA)

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor s Degree in IT Computer Science or related field
