Job Summary

Position Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of IT and advanced manufacturing supporting the production of one of the most innovative vehicles in the market.

The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in supporting plant operations troubleshooting IT systems and contributing to next-generation manufacturing initiatives as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IT operations and technical support for plant floor applications and infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues in a manufacturing environment

  • Support manufacturing execution systems and plant applications to ensure uptime and performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including assembly quality industrial controls and finance

  • Assist in data analysis and problem resolution to support production goals

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives supporting lean and flexible manufacturing

  • Support emerging technologies such as:

    • Industrial IoT (IIoT)

    • Software-defined networks (SDN)

    • Digital systems and mobility solutions

  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure including servers networks and end-user devices

  • Participate in global IT initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational standards

Required Skills

  • Strong customer support and communication skills

Required Experience
  • Experience or willingness to learn:

    • Windows Server (2016) and/or Linux administration

    • Active Directory / ADFS

    • VMware (vSphere)

    • Cisco networking (routers switches basic troubleshooting)

    • Office 365 and SharePoint

    • PCs printers and office automation tools

    • Mobile device support (iOS Android)

    • Handheld scanners and imaging devices

  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell) is a plus

Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to plant floor or manufacturing environments

  • Knowledge of industrial automation (PLCs control systems)

  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDA)

Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred: Bachelor s Degree in IT Computer Science or related field
