Job Summary
Resurgence Brewing Co. (RBC) believes that enjoying a well-crafted brew is an experience in itself. However its an experience best shared with friends both new and old. Our goal is to deliver memorable beer moments to the drinkers of the Greater Buffalo region (and now Florida!) whether theyre at home in their favorite bar or on a tour of our extraordinary brewery.
What youll be doing:
Were beginning recruitment for our new snazzy Ft Myers FL brewery! The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is integral to providing a superior experience for both staff and guests. The AGM reports to the General Manager and executes daily operations for both the front- and back-of-house. It is of upmost importance to us that the AGM of our FL site adapts to the RBC culture and brings our FU Awesome energy vibe and history to our new friends down south.
This full-time position oversees various taproom functions enforces policy and procedures ensures guests have an FU Awesome experience supports and supervises staff coordinates schedules maintains quality standards and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. A successful AGM will foster a positive work culture that reflects brand values. Strong leadership operational expertise and a passion for craft beer/cider/cocktails and hospitality are essential.
As part of the restaurant industry weekend and evening availability are required.
Starting salary is $42000 to $50000 annually based on education experience and interview.
What youll need:
- Minimum of high school diploma; advanced degree a plus
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a restaurant setting; brewery/beverage industry a plus
- Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to train motivate and develop staff
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of health safety and food handling regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office computer applications
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Passion for craft beverages hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Forklift certification a plus
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
