Job Summary:
The Plant Coordinator (PPMC) is responsible for coordinating towards smooth execution of Marketing orders with help of close coordination and planning with production and related departments of the assigned Plant. This role asks for a close liaison between various departments like production logistics and quality control to ensure optimal executions of planned orders as per the mandated requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


Production Coordination:
o Work closely with production teams to ensure proper scheduling and adherence to timelines.
o Monitor production progress and resolve any issues or bottleneck that may arise.
o Ensure adequate materials and resources are available for production activities.


Inventory and Logistics:
o Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with Purchase department to ensure timely delivery.
o Track finished goods inventory and manage dispatch logistics through export documentation team.
o Support in the scheduling of shipments and distribution of finished goods.


Quality Control Support:
o Required coordination to ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
o Support the implementation of any corrective actions when quality issues arise.


Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare daily weekly and monthly production planning Vs Actual progress reports for management review.
o Maintain accurate records of production schedules and inventory levels.


Cross-Department Collaboration:
o Act as a liaison between the production maintenance quality and logistics teams.
o Facilitate communication to resolve issues promptly and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:
Education:
o Any Bachelors degree or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


Experience:
o 2-5 years of experience in coordinating a manufacturing or production planning.
o Experience with production scheduling and inventory management.


Skills:
o Strong organizational and time-management skills.
o Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any industry-specific software (e.g. ERP).
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Personal Attributes:
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on optimum resource utilization time management.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proactive self-motivated and solution-oriented.

Working Conditions:
The role may involve occasional visit to plants in case of critical orders.
