Job Summary

PPS is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician at our metal-based engineering and manufacturing facility in Phoenix. This is a direct hire full-time permanent position with excellent benefits and a high ceiling for advancement!

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems replace or repair parts test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines equipment and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong hydraulic pneumatic mechanical electrical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
Knowledge of production machines including grinders Bridgeport mills Hurco mills and lathes manual lathes spot welders MIG & TIG welders Amada brakes Amada Pega punch presses PEM insertion press Mits laser gas oven and facility equipment including compressors forklifts pickers pallet jacks and hoists
