Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
As the Industrial Electrical Technician you will:
Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools PLC ladder VFD motors and robotics
Diagnose problems plan and complete work required identify and order parts
Install modify troubleshoot test and repair electrical and electronic control systems up to 600V
Maintain and modify machine tools process equipment and facilities
Apply knowledge of components devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related electronics including AC and DC motors motors controls electronic drives PLC instrumentation and sensors.
Qualifications / Requirements
Associates Degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics OR High School Diploma/GED with Military Advanced Electronics Training Course
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends
Ability and willingness to work either 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Monday - Friday.
Desired Characteristics:
Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role
Familiarity with electrical motors and control circuits
Strong electrical fundamental and safety knowledge (electrical schematics NFPA 79 LOTO)
Prior experience with operating systems software and ladder logic (Fanuc Siemens) used in PLC systems to diagnose and repair circuits to restore operation.
The hourly base pay range for this position is $37.47/hr to $45.68/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
