General Summary:
The Angio Technologist produces high quality examinations while assuring proper and professional care of the patient while in Medical Imaging Services or the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assists physician in performing interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures. This position required the application of precise positioning techniques combined with accurate settings of technical factors as well as the monitoring of equipment toinsureproper functioning. Constant mental attention isrequiredwhile performing studies and proper steriletechnique. Accountable for the operation of equipment.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
What you will need
Required:
-Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
-Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
-Licensed Radiologic Technologist by the State of Maryland.
-If working in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab a Certificate in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is strongly preferred.
-BLS certification (American Heart Association);additionalLife Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
Preferred:
Oneyearexperience in interventional radiology preferred.
Pay Range: $35.41- $53.12
Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
