Job Summary
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS Certified)
Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift
Schedule: 58-hour shifts
Compensation:
Travelers: $2597/week
Local Candidates: $2062/week
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate and timely imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations
Prepare patients for procedures including reviewing medical history and explaining the process
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in a safe and effective manner
Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Analyze sonographic findings and ensure accurate documentation
Communicate effectively with patients radiologists and healthcare staff
Maintain patient records and assist with care coordination
Ensure adherence to safety infection control and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
ARDMS Certification (required)
Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and imaging techniques
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Key Skills:
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Good organizational and time management skills
Work Environment:
Clinical / hospital-based imaging department
Collaborative team setting with radiologists and healthcare professionals
