Job Summary
MRI Technologist Night Shift
Location: Elmhurst NY
Job Type: Contract (Local/Travel)
Pay Rate:
Local: $50/hr $60/hr
Travel: $70/hr $77/hr
Schedule:
5 Days/Week
Night Shift: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM
3540 Hours/Week
Alternating Weekends & Holidays
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs MRI scans to support diagnosis and patient care. This role requires strong knowledge of MRI procedures patient safety and imaging quality in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans as per physician orders
Prepare and position patients for imaging
Follow MRI safety protocols
Operate MRI equipment (GE experience preferred)
Check image quality and accuracy
Monitor patients during procedures
Maintain proper documentation
Work with radiologists and healthcare teams
Follow hospital policies and infection control standards
Requirements
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
NY State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT Certification (Required)
1 year MRI experience in acute care
Experience with GE MRI equipment
