Job Description:
To take full ownership and lead the daily execution of all operational tasks within the Aircraft Embodiment Engineer (AEE) Airbus tooling warehouse and Working Party Experience Centre (Working PartyEC) in Malaysia. This role is responsible for the complete and compliant management of all inventory for both global maintenance support and practical training activities ensuring the seamless and timely supply of critical Working Party tools while upholding the highest standards of safety and Part 145 regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the AEE team from daily task management to process governance resource optimization and regulatory compliance in line with (Airbus MO EASA Part 145) to support AEE technical activities and audit readiness.
Lead and execute all hands-on warehouse duties on the entire flow of Working Party tools readiness including receiving inspection secure storage picking packing and dispatch of all tools and parts.
Uphold Safety and Facility Standards: Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean secure and organized condition compliant with all Health & Safety and EASA regulations according to Part 145 standards.
Manage logistics & procurement coordination: Liaise with the Procurement team for the purchasing of tools and consumables with suppliers for inventory management and with customs authorities for the import and export of tools as required.
Manage all inventory record-keeping to meet Part 145 record-retention requirements: Ensure all inventory movements and transactions are recorded accurately and in real-time using the companys inventory control systems.
Manage WPEC inventory: Take full responsibility for the management control and availability of all tools and consumables required for training activities at the WPEC.
Take direct ownership of all compliance programs: Personally manage and maintain the tool calibration program ensuring 100% accuracy and audit-readiness at all times.
Monitor team performance by the use of data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks in the tool-flow and escalate innovations to enhance efficiency and support Airbus values focusing on the Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting non-conformances without fear of retribution.
Identify and escalate continuous improvement and innovations initiatives with the team leveraging data-driven insights to optimize processes enhance efficiency and deliver measurable business value.
Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company.
Coordinate cross-functional interfaces between AEE Warehouse and WPEC to support efficient execution and reduced lead-time & cost.
Engage in Global Warehouse Collaboration: Actively participate in weekly meetings with international warehouse counterparts to discuss operational improvements resolve issues and coordinate inter-warehouse support as required.
Support training development: Collaborate with the WPEC trainer to assist in the improvement and development of practical hands-on training modules.
Provide on-the-job guidance training and support to other warehouse personnel fostering a highly effective and collaborative team environment.
Support the HO Customer Care Centre Asia Pacific by providing reports on operational performance and inventory status.
Collaborate with mechanics teams to understand their needs and ensure efficient service delivery.
Expected Output:
Operational Deliverables: Ensure 100% on-time and accurate delivery of all requested tools to global maintenance teams directly contributing to minimizing aircraft ground time.
Training Centre: Lead WPEC training activities including planning and training personnel development of new WPEC modules. Ensure 100% availability of serviceable tools for all scheduled WPEC training sessions contributing to a high-quality learning experience.
Quality & Customer Satisfaction: Maintain zero audit findings related to warehouse and WPEC operations (EASA/CAAM Part 145). Achieve high satisfaction from internal customers (mechanics engineers) through reliable and efficient service.
Inventory Integrity: Maintain inventory accuracy at or above 99.5% through diligent process control and regular audits.
