Job Description
Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Manager Status: Part time

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Department/Location: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School / Tucson

Primary Function: Under the direction of the Pastor and Principal the marketing and development coordinator plays a key role in promoting the mission and vision of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and is responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing strategies cultivating donor relationships and managing fundraising campaigns to support the schools growth and sustainability. The Employee shall be a minister of the Gospel and Catholic Teaching behaviorally while at work and in his/her personal life Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received. (Eph. 4:1)

Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Brand Management
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to enhance the visibility and reputation of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School within the community.
  • Manage the schools brand identity across various platforms ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
  • Create compelling marketing materials including brochures digital content and social media posts to engage current and prospective families.

Public Relations and Community Engagement:
  • Cultivate positive relationships with local media outlets community organizations and stakeholders to increase awareness of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and its programs.
  • Coordinate diocesan news articles and promotional events to highlight school achievements events and initiatives.
  • Support admissions director in planning for open houses and information sessions to attract prospective students and families.
  • Manage and update the schools website ensuring content is up to date accurate and relevant.

Development and Fundraising:
  • Identify cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors corporate sponsors and philanthropic foundations to secure financial support for the school.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns special events (Soiree) and donor recognition programs to meet annual fundraising goals.
Data Management and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions gifts and contributions using donor management software.
  • Analyze fundraising trends donor demographics and campaign outcomes to inform future strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare annual report for school leadership and stakeholders on fundraising progress and outcomes.

Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with the school leadership team faculty and staff to integrate fundraising initiatives with the overall strategic plan of the school.
  • Collaborate with PTCO and volunteers to enhance community involvement.

Physical/Mental Requirements: Requires coordination and manual dexterity; normal mental and visual ability; ability to lift as required in a normal office environment; availability in evenings and weekends as needed to fulfill responsibilities.

Required Activities: Walking sitting standing stooping reaching talking handling hearing carrying and keyboarding.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A working knowledge of and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church; must also be a practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church.
  • Excellent communications skills verbal and written; excellent human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires excellent customer service and communication skills and great attention to detail. A pleasant professional telephone manner is essential.
  • Requires data entry skills knowledge of office equipment and office procedures and excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Exercise courtesy to fellow employees parishioners and the general public
  • Must be a self-starter; well organized; perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of transactions; maintain and respect the privacy of donors and persons served.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; punctuality is necessary at all times; ability to travel locally as required; weekend and overtime work may be required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Professional bearing; clean and neat personal appearance
  • Ability to successfully pass a background criminal history and credit history check.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to articulate the mission and goals of the school effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors volunteers and community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in donor management software and social media platforms.
  • Highly organized detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education with a passion for promoting academic excellence and community engagement.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelors degreein Marketing Communications Business Administration or related field.
  • Previous experience in marketing development fundraising or related roles preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience working with volunteers.
  • Experience with special events.
