Wood Mackenzie is looking for a Digital Marketing Senior Specialist with a focus on PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and SEO marketing to support the strategic activation of various campaigns across our digital role is a global role working with key stakeholders to support our business goals across audience growth engagement and lead pipeline generation. This role offers the opportunity for a creative innovative digital marketer to drive real results around all our PPC activity globally and be part of shaping our AI SEO plans for 2026.
Role Purpose:
Covering multiple aspects of digital marketing the main purpose is to drive revenue growth through strategic campaign management feed optimisation and continuous testing while maintaining profitable ROAS targets deployed PPC campaigns that drive key business results. Working with marketing external delivery agencies and other stakeholders you will focus on paid acquisition channels optimising for quality over quantity while working closely with sales to ensure marketing-qualified leads convert to MQL to SQL pipeline across appropriate PPC platforms and channels. Your goal is to drive qualified lead generation and engage audiences at each stage of the B2B funnel.
You will be responsible for working closely with the broader marketing organisation including our programme product events corporate and performance marketing teams to drive effective and efficient PPC campaign activations utilising the companys marketing technology stack and channels. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Director.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role:
Build and manage B2B-focused campaigns on Google Ads StackAdapt X ads and LinkedIn ads
Develop paid media strategies for enterprise targets based on predictive and intent-based behaviour
Work with the website team to create landing pages and conversion paths for different buyer personas
Implement lead scoring and qualification processes based on CPC (Cost-Per-Customer)
Optimise campaigns for pipeline contribution not just lead volume and flow
Manage retargeting campaigns throughout the consideration cycle and help boost email nurture campaigns
Collaborate closely with content creation web development and other marketing teams to align AI-driven SEO strategies across channels
Perform technical SEO audits using AI tools and implement improvements to site architecture metadata internal linking and schema markup with working with our website team and external web agency
Conduct competitive keyword research in our industries and global markets
Report on full-funnel metrics from click to customer using Dreamdata analytics and own monthly digital reporting for your relevant campaigns
Test new channels like Bombora and industry publications
Work with sales team to understand lead quality feedback and where support is needed to convert customers based on a digital demand centre methodology
Utilise our internal AI agent wherever possible to streamline processes tasks and ideation
Liaise with external agencies to ensure effective activation of campaigns
Mentor team members to support their development of digital best practices and a centre of excellence
About You
To be successful in this role youll be an experienced PPC B2B digital marketing specialist (or have relevant industry experience) ideally with broader knowledge of B2B marketing principles SEO experience and an understanding of MarTech stacks supporting full-funnel marketing from awareness through to lead generation.
Knowledge of the energy & commodity markets would be beneficial but is not essential.
You will have:
Proven PPC B2B digital marketing experience especially around paid media
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and paid media platforms (e.g. Salesforce Google Analytics Google Looker Studio LinkedIn Ads Google Ads X ads StackAdapt Supermetrics and DreamData)
Experience in planning and executing integrated digital paid media campaigns.
Proven AEO GEO or SEO experience or at least playbook understanding
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Aptitude for quickly grasping and simplifying complex concepts while maintaining key messages
Research digital media and advertising trends
Decide on appropriate placement of paid advertising with digital agency
Measure digital traffic and manage reporting on paid advertising
Optimise paid advertising campaigns using PPC and other specialist tools
Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders in monthly meetings
Scale campaigns to maximise ROI and new logo and customer growth objectives
Monitor project status and budgets for assign verticals
Conduct market research to optimise campaign performance
