Description

Serve as the leader on antitrust and white-collar criminal matters for Honeywell Automation Honeywells stand-alone business that will remain after the execution of its spin of the Aerospace segment to the public markets. You will be a member of the larger Regulatory and Compliance department working with peers in all areas of law. This position has no direct reports.

Thisrolewillreporttothe GC for Regulatory and senior legal and compliance leadership and interact closely with business leaders and other functional professionals including M&A Strategy Finance HR and Audit.



Responsibilities

Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

Antitrust

  • Providestrategicadviceand counselonallaspectsofantitrust andcompetitionlawconfrontedbya multi-industry global company
  • Conductantitrustriskassessmentsandgapanalysisandleadmulti-functionalteamsincarryingout action plan
  • Implementationofannualantitrustcomplianceprogramincludingtrainingtodifferentfunctionsand legal teams
  • Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamsinparticulartheM&ALegalCorporateStrategyteamsto advise regarding antitrust and competition law compliance
  • SupporttheM&ALegalteaminevaluatingventuresmakingrequiredfilingsandonboardingof acquired assets
  • Conductinvestigationsintopossibleviolationofantitrustandanticorruptionlaw
  • Respondtoandinteractwithgovernmentofficialsonmattersrelatedtoantitrustandcompetitionlaw

White Collar

  • Serve as the internal expert on the process to manage white-collar matters within Automation including developing legal defenses engaging with governmental agencies and partnering with the Litigation and Investigations teams to respond to inquiries such as subpoenas civil investigative demands regulatory requests from agencies such as the US Department of Justice the SEC Treasury and OFAC and international regulators such as the European Commission.
  • Manage and coordinate with external counsel on highrisk criminal and regulatory enforcement matters in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and execute strategic defense approaches for criminal enforcement matters impacting the company or its employees.
  • Oversee factual development document preservation and production interviews and preparation of written submissions to authorities.
  • Advise senior leadership on potential exposure collateral consequences settlement options and litigation risk.



Qualifications

Youmusthave:

  • LawDegreeandadmittedtopracticelawinajurisdictionintheUnitedStates
  • 8-14yearsof relevant workexperience
  • Demonstratedabilitytosynthesizecomplexissuesquicklyandcommunicateclearlyandsuccinctly
  • First chair experience resolving antitrust and white collar matters with the government

The annual base salary range for this position is < $255K - $325K >. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
