The Fulfillment Warehouse Manager is responsible for all warehousing and fulfilment operations in
their respective facilities. This includes management of manpower (Supervisors Team Leaders.
Sorters Aides) management of the facility (5S) adherence to processes and reporting on performance
metrics for warehouse operations.
The WH Manager shall report directly to the Deputy Head for Fulfillment Operations. He/she shall be
fully accountable for all Warehouse operations and Fulfillment performance metrics.
Main Duties
- Maintains receiving warehousing and distribution operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with national and local warehousing material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by supervising physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Provides proper directing receiving warehousing and distribution services while supervising staff.
- Plans manpower allocation to meet forecasted volumes seasonal surges and campaigns.
- Complies with national and local warehousing material handling and shipping requirements.
- Timely reporting and escalation of theft damages or operational risks.
- Oversee daily order processing (picking packing staging dispatch).
- Ensure adherence to SOPs across inbound storage outbound and returns.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years cumulative work experience in warehousing and fulfillment.
- Experience in warehouse management
- Setting up and scaling up warehouse operations is a plus.
- Experience in leading and / or participating in process improvement initiatives (from Data gathering to implementation and monitoring / control) related to improving operating levels.
- Experience in handling teams and multiple staff
- Strict and able to ensure policy and SOP compliance.
- Can read understand and report data.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting
- Develops practical solutions to operational challenges and process gaps.
- Adapts quickly to new processes systems and operational changes.
