Data Analyst Industrial Engineering Focus

About the Role
We are looking for a detaildriven
Data Analyst with an Industrial Engineering background to transform operational production and business data into actionable insights. This role plays a key part in improving efficiency optimising processes supporting strategic decisionmaking and driving costsaving initiatives across the organisation.
You will combine data analytics expertise with industrial engineering methodologies to support continuous improvement enhance operational performance and ensure data-driven optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather validate and interpret data from various operational systems.
- Create intuitive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI Tableau or Excel.
- Conduct trend variance and performance analyses to support business decisions.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using statistical methods and modelling.
- Perform workflow studies capacity analysis and time & motion assessments.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen principles to support process optimisation.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to enhance processes and reduce waste.
- Build and maintain forecasting and predictive models.
- Collaborate closely with multiple business units to understand operational needs.
- Communicate insights clearly and effectively to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
- Certifications in Data Analytics BI tools SQL or Python are beneficial.
- Minimum 4 years experience in industrial engineering data analytics or a related optimisation environment.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI Tableau and Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL Python or R is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Lean methodologies process mapping and VSM.
- Skilled in statistical analysis including regression and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP or MES platforms such as SAP Syspro or Oracle.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.
