About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by our Senior P&C business partnering team and to extend your HR toolkit. You will be supporting across key cyclical processes including performance remuneration and graduate recruitment with the ability to get involved in wider HR projects and initiatives. You may be aspiring to step into Business Partnering in the next couple of years - the incumbent has moved into a Senior P&C Advisor role so there is demonstrable commitment to growing and developing our people internally.
You will be involved in:
- Providing support across the generalist HR remit
- Providing first line advice and support on employee life cycle queries
- Helping to provide coaching and support to people managers
- Processing employment related paperwork and documentation
- Managing annual P&C audits and accreditation programmes
- Contributing to strategic and operational HR projects and initiatives
- Supporting the graduate recruitment team where required
Skills experience and capabilities you will bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualification in a related area
- Circa 3 years generalist HR exposure ideally in a professional services environment
- Good working knowledge of relevant NZ HR legislation
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Professional confidential and diplomatic manner
- Proactive and collaborative working style
- Ability to problem solve multi-task and prioritise
- Resilience and a sense of humour!
