Sr Marketing Manager Event Marketing
Location: NYC NY or Remote
Reporting to: Director National Event Marketing
This role is a key individual contributor on the National Event Marketing team responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive attendance engagement and revenue for large-scale in-person and virtual events including Identiverse Infosec World MSSP Alert Live and virtual conferences.
The Senior Marketing Manager Event Marketing will report to the Director of National Event Marketing and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact event marketing programs. This role requires a strong executor with hands-on experience in conference marketing digital promotion and campaign optimization.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Event Marketing Execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness registrations and engagement for large-scale conferences virtual events and hybrid programs.
Large Conference Marketing Support: Own day-to-day marketing execution for assigned flagship events including audience acquisition email marketing paid media coordination content promotion and sponsorship marketing support.
Virtual Event Marketing: Execute marketing strategies for webinars virtual summits and hybrid events optimizing digital channels such as email paid media SEO and social media to drive registrations and attendance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales product marketing content and creative teams to align event messaging promotional assets and lead-generation efforts.
Campaign Optimization & Reporting: Track performance metrics analyze campaign results and recommend optimizations to improve registration performance engagement and ROI.
Audience Segmentation & Personalization: Support segmentation and targeting strategies to improve campaign relevance and performance across event audiences.
Brand Alignment & Messaging: Ensure all event marketing aligns with brand standards and supports thought leadership positioning through compelling event narratives and storytelling.
Vendor & Platform Coordination: Work with external vendors digital agencies and internal teams to support campaign execution and platform management.
Project Management: Manage timelines workflows and deliverables across multiple events simultaneously particularly during peak event seasons.
Event Support: Provide on-site or virtual support for events as needed to ensure marketing execution aligns with attendee experience goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
57 years of experience in event marketing or related marketing roles.
Proven experience supporting or executing marketing campaigns for large-scale conferences and/or virtual events.
Strong hands-on experience with digital marketing channels including email paid media social media and content marketing.
Ability to analyze campaign performance data and apply insights to optimize results.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Experience with event technology platforms CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and marketing automation tools is a plus.
Prior experience with event registration platforms is a plus; Swoogo experience preferred.
Willingness to travel for events as required up to 15% of the time.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced event-driven environment.
Familiarity with or interest in learning about the information security industry.
Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation efficiency and value creation.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI technology to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced event-driven environment.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City CRA is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerousfactors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates qualifications skills competencies experienceand estimate of the current range is $90000 to $95000 which does not include other compensationbenefits package.
