About the Role

Our Client is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager in Kokomo IN. The role oversees daily warehouse operations including receiving storage inventory control and shipping and includes staff supervision safety and compliance process improvement and reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving storage inventory control and shipping.
Ensure efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate with transportation logistics and customer service teams.
Manage and supervise warehouse staff and shift leaders; plan staffing levels and schedules.
Train employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols; monitor performance and productivity.
Maintain inventory accuracy using WMS; conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies; maintain a clean safe and organized warehouse environment.
Identify and implement process improvements and operational best practices; monitor KPIs such as order accuracy picking efficiency and turnaround time.
Prepare operational reports for management; track performance metrics and report issues with proposed solutions.

Qualifications

5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience.
Experience managing warehouse staff and operations.
Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
Strong leadership organizational and problem-solving skills.
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business Administration or related field (preferred).
Experience in 3PL or logistics service providers (preferred).
Inventory control and warehouse optimization experience (preferred).
Bilingual (English/Korean).

Salary: $70k 90k
