- Conducting comprehensive analyses of operational processes and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
- Developing and applying robust mathematical and statistical models to simulate potential scenarios assess risks and optimize resource allocation
- Preparing detailed analytical reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement process enhancements and operational solutions aligned with contract requirements
- Monitoring key performance indicators to validate analytical models and ensure sustained operational effectiveness

Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role
- One or more years of experience must be with communication systems networks or technologies
- Bachelors degree in engineering or engineering discipline computer science or IT discipline or technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to design develop and implement mathematical models and statistical analyses to support operational decision-making and resource optimization
- Proficient in applying quantitative methods such as simulation sensitivity analysis and risk assessment to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Skilled in the use of operations research tools and software (e.g. Excel MATLAB and optimization packages) to analyze complex data sets and drive strategic recommendations
- Possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g. Python R) to automate data processing and enhance model precision
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical findings to senior management
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline operations and boost efficiency
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in optimizing operational processes
