What youll be doing
Youll manage complex industrial ammonia refrigeration projects from planning to commissioning across South and East Africa. Youll lead industrial ammonia refrigeration projects from initial planning through to commissioning. Your focus will be on managing timelines budgets and contractors while ensuring total compliance with ammonia safety standards. Youll coordinate multidisciplinary teams on-site resolve challenges quickly and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear and consistent communication. Youll own each project like its your own because thats the culture here.

The offices are based in Ottery Cape Town. The role requires heavy travel across Southern and East Africa where you will take full ownership of large projects.
What youll need
You must have proven experience managing ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration projects including installation and commissioning in safety-critical environments. We are ideally looking for 5 years in this space to show full understanding of the project lifecycle. Youll hold a degree in engineering or a technical diploma with ammonia safety certification (Cat 1 / 2) and a recognised project management credential like PMP or PRINCE2.
